Overview
Despite our clean, green image, New Zealand has a serious litter problem, and most of that litter ends up on our beaches.
To raise awareness of the problem and promote the Dreams creator platform available on Sony PlayStation, we partnered with Sustainable Coastlines and created an entirely new game: Pick Up Quick!
Pick Up Quick! saw real coastlines created in the PlayStation Dreams platform and then populated with litter using data from real life beach clean-ups.
Players had to race against the clock to pick up as much trash as they could, before comparing what they collected to what was found in a real-life clean up.
