Should I stay or should I go?



To help ANZ Bank capture a larger share of the home loans market, we asked the one question on every home owner’s mind when it comes to their bank.

‘Should I Stay or Should I Go?’ uses one of the most iconic songs of all time to plant the question in people’s minds, while the visuals open a door leading them to the answer.

The playful, punk-inspired art direction encourages the audience to ‘stay’ if they’re with ANZ, or ‘go’ if they’re with other banks- by using our competitors’ distinctive brand colours. We created ads using Green (Kiwibank), Yellow (ASB) and Red (Westpac), with all doors inviting viewers to join ANZ (Blue).

The campaign highlights the new ANZ Home Loan Check In- a service designed to help New Zealanders make the best call with their home loans, offering free expert consultations, along with a promise to match the best fixed rate advertised by any major bank.
