Creating an army of Day One fans to launch ANZ’s Sponsorship of Auckland FC.
After waiting nearly two decades, the nation’s biggest city had a football team to call its own. And as the nation’s biggest bank, we showed how ANZ was backing Auckland FC from day one.
In the run up to Auckland FC’s first ever game, we created special edition ‘DAY 1’ jerseys, given to die-hard fans via a co-ordinated OOH and Social campaign, boosted by PR and influencers.
Fans who followed ANZ on Instagram got a head start on the citywide giveaway, announcing our ‘Auckland Forever’ campaign for ANZ, a statement of love for this beautiful city and the beautiful game.
